Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once

I'm about to begin a new and pretty stressful job (at least only in the beginning I hope :p ) so I won't be as active as I usually am...still will try to be there as much as I can :)

So, this finally came out really late in my country and I liked it! Just didn't love it as much as everyone seems to here.
Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan ( good to have him back indeed and I hope it won't just be a "quick" return to the big screen) are wonderful together. Liked the domestic/familial drama aspect, its take on "positive nihilism" with the classic/universal message of "nothing makes sense/matters yet we still need to make the best of it and it's all worth is as long as we are kind and love each other" basically. Life is absurd...so embrace the absurd! (the rock scene rocks indeed). Very philosophy 101 but still nice!
BUT the extremely random quirky humor I thought was mostly annoying - and a reminder that it's definitely trying to be both an indie flick and a blockbuster- the russo bros' producing this is no accident! - and I found the "muchness" of it all to be a little tiring after a while; (wished some scenes weren't that frantic and/or took more time for ex) but it's ultimately a fun enough time at the movies.
Edit: Actually the try-hard humor mix with silly action is just too annoying for me...Truly one of my hottest takes
