Oddity

I was at the Nonstop x Slash Film Festival Surprise Preview and saw this film without knowing of its existence prior, which I love to do. After a strong first scene, the dialogue and acting started to worry me, because it felt wooden and just plain boring. Luckily the film starts to have some good atmospheric scary moments that build up to some creative jump scares. I was also a fan of the sound design which really gets under your skin, but at moments it feels like it’s just loud for the sake of scaring you.
