wow. i just finished this and i’m pretty sure oscar & jessica turned in some of the best performances i’ve ever seen.
not to be all over dramatic and deep but after recently going through my first ever breakup with someone who i am not over at all, this hit even harder. obviously it’s a completely different situation lol, but yeah it just hit me really hard. it’s been the first thing i’ve watched in a long time that has had…

    It Chapter Two

    ★★½

i got a little over an hour into this when i just had to skip through it because what a mess. i mean i wasn’t expecting it to be great and i haven’t read the book so i can’t really judge but film wise this just does not flow at all. the dialogue was just really.... bad and immature and it just didn’t have that same great atmosphere as the first one. anyway i love jessica chastain and i have to say how great bill skarsgaard was again because holy shit. i hope he gets the roles he deserves for the rest of his career

as i'm seeing dunkirk tomorrow i thought i'd rewatch this, i.e my 7th favourite film of all time.
i really don't know what to say. this film is so huge it takes a lot to get your head round it let alone write a decent review. in my opinion this is the best sci fi since 2001: a space odyssey (nothing will ever come close to that for me) and there have been a lot of good ones. i'm not…
