While Escape from L.A has some cool set pieces and a cool score, while featuring our AnPrim hero Snake Pliskken, it loses a lot of the charm that the first movie had, feeling a lot blander and a lot less fun. There is wonky CGI that should have been left out and a lack of excitement. Cool ending though, I wanted the bad guys to win, until I realised I wanted Snake to win.
