The exposition in Die Hard is just superb. It makes you wonder why more scripts just don’t have that attention to detail. To also take the time to set up the lead characters so later on you know and care who these people are.
This on top of some of the best action set pieces on film.
I love that this is a film that barely feels dated too (especially with the lobby touchscreen being well ahead of its time!)
Always a Christmas treat.
