m. night is the master in creating spooky atmospheres with tones of sadness and loneliness, mostly because of his photography and grief of his characters. this film has a heavy atmosphere and the feeling that something is about to happen. the feeling that something isn't right and the hope that everything will end well.
- sometimes we don't do things we want to do so that others won't know we want to do them.
sad beautiful tragic. in the end, it's all about love. bryce dallas howard captures that very well. loved the story, the plot, and the message. I didn't think it was dragged, maybe because I like these portraits of the human psyche and the horror elements made me love it more, it reminded me of the witch.
- and what makes you think he has feelings for me?
- the way he never touches you.
