Learic Life’s review published on Letterboxd:
Enjoyable whodunit features one of Daniel Craig’s best performances as an idiosyncratic Southern sleuth, and the star-studded ensemble cast makes the whole experience entertaining. The film is a fun puzzle to put together, and by the time the last piece is placed it is a satisfying conclusion.
There are some forced attempts at humor that verge on the cartoonish, but the entire film owns the over-the-top tone it flaunts, so it’s tough to criticize too harshly.
Agatha Christie meets Rashomon.
