Mixed feelings
A) This movie is a spectacle for a fan like me who has been following Marvel movies before MCU was a thing (When Ben Affleck used to play Daredevil). It's a celebration of various “Verses” Marvel has gone through.
B) The movie takes the MCU nowhere and that has been the problem since Endgame or maybe Shang Chi. I really thought he’s gonna be the Marvel Jesus but even TVA isn’t properly used to dwell further on the multiverse
Talking about the movie: We get the craziest duo they could ever pull off. Watching Hugh don the yellow suit and Deadpool again kills with the opening scene. The humour is spot on and we get shitloads of cameos that i’d never imagine. The groovy soundtrack just adds to the cinema.
However the story does not raise enough stakes. The action is just well choreographed and I really think with this we can get done with Marvel earning money through Nostalgia
