Joshua White’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Sixth Sense is arguably Shyamalan at his finest. The performances are here; from the caring, but frustrated Toni Collette, to the troubled Haley Joel Osment (who happens to turn in one of my favorite performances from a child actor ever), and Bruce Willis, who just might steal the show with a reserved, but equally moving turn. Shyamalan directs the crap out of this film, and I can see why he drew comparisons to Spielberg early on in his career. The score by James Newton Howard is pretty good. The film is mostly known for what is revealed at the end, and I get that, but I hope that the rest that this film has to offer isn't lost on those who were blown away by the end.
