  Oh Nosferatu... I had such high hopes...

  Unfortunately, it's slow, in a bad way. Dull, and droll. It fails to convince me of Orlok. It picks up when Dafoe's character appears –the best part of the film, i'd say– as Franz. 

  My complaints aren't with the colouring, it's gorgeous in its dullness in that sense. 

  Orlok simply isn't compelling in which he must be.
