Incredibly rich film - the real deal. So many ways to turn it over, regard it, deconstruct it. Such clear filmmaking it would probably still hit with the sound off. Even taken just as a character study, or the story at face value, it's an amazing cumulative experience, constantly subverting your attempt to get ahead of it. Super challenging role for Moore who just crushes it, and so early in her career too! Her last speech is just one of the most sobering, heartbreaking things I've seen in a movie. Knocked me out. Props to Gianni for putting me on this one.
