One of those rare films that could be 1.5 stars or 4.5 stars.
It could be 4.5 stars because this film has something worth saying, and they have a unique way of saying it.
It could be 1.5 stars because things went so extreme that it felt like they could be leaning too heavily into shock value.
For the simple reason of not soon being forgettable, I'm going to split the difference on the slightly generous side and say I like this movie at 3 stars.
