Quite possibly the only franchise where the outlandish and increasingly stupid plot lines, bad writing and just general nonsense regarding the action and characters is directly correlated with my enjoyment of the film.

The worse these films get in those aspects,
the more I tend to enjoy the hell out of them. 

These sequels are always such a good time and I’m not afraid to admit that they’re amongst my favourite type of viewing experiences in the theatre. Sometimes it’s way more fun just reclining in your seat and watching a film try it’s best to offer up even more absurdity than the last time without ever taking itself seriously.
