This year I focused more on choosing films actually in the Criterion Collection rather than just being on the Criterion Channel--in most cases managing to find titles that were on both.
A note about my "watchlist" (since several of prompts require choosing from one's watchlist). My LB Watchlist is reserved for titles I hadn't been able to find on my streaming services, so I get notification if they do show up on one. This year I focused more on choosing films actually in the Criterion Collection rather than just being on the Criterion Channel--in most cases managing to find titles that were on both.
A note about my "watchlist" (since several of prompts require choosing from one's watchlist). My LB Watchlist is reserved for titles I hadn't been able to find on my streaming services, so I get notification if they do show up on one. I maintain a separate, private, list encompassing all the movies I intend to watch and that's where most of my "watchlist" related picks are. (There have been a handful of movies on my LB watchlist that are now on streaming services so I was able to pick one movie from there.)
This is the first year in which I had to somewhat alter the prompts in order to find first-watches: 1) the Made in Brazil category (where I chose something from the Channel, having watched both titles that were provided as options from the Collection--very surprised they didn't have more from Brazil), and 2) Sight and Sound, since I have already watched all the Criterion titles that were on the Sight and Sound list.
