This movie ruled.

Look, it won’t win any awards, and it’s silly, and it’s over the top, and it’s a lot, but Deadpool and Wolverine made me feel like a kid again. By incorporating a sort of greatest hits of the Fox superhero movies, I definitely thought back to being a kid and watching movies like X-Men and talking about it with my dad, comparing everything to his old comic books he let me have.

Lost in the MCU’s recent downturn is not only that some of the movies/shows have become over bloated, but that these properties haven’t really been fun outside of I guess Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and No Way Home. While 2 hours of Deadpool quipping can be a lot, even for me, the movie is absolutely fun as fuck. And that’s all anyone can ask for.
