Adam’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm not sure if this fully nails the balance between its social satire and the family elements, but what we get is super watchable, charming, and open-hearted. I really like where this leaves off, while also wanting even more of these characters. High praise in my opinion!
I will watch Jeffrey Wright in absolutely anything, what an all-timer he is. And Sterling K Brown is terrific in this, he elevates every single scene.
