I shall report that even a good 20 minutes after finishing "Rear Window", my butt-cheeks remain firmly clenched. Hitchcock was called the master of suspense for a reason and I'm glad I have finally gotten to go through his vast filmography.
It's simply stunning to learn that so many film-making tricks I know from modern movies can be traced back to 1950's Hitchcock classics. Like the flash lamp sequence...
Brilliance!
