wish i could like a film with a drunken karaoke scene followed by sometimes by mbv more. maybe ill enjoy it when im having my mid-life crisis in a few decades time but beautifully shot and a great soundtrack as always.

lux was the last to go
a bunch of boys trying to insert themselves into a story that doesn't concern them under some grandiose delusion that they are the ones destined to ‘solve’ the mystery that is the lisbon sisters.
everyone saying to show this from the girls’ perspective is misunderstanding the whole point of the movie itself. the whole thing is centered around the mystery and unknowability of the sisters… what’s the point if we see things through their pov?…
