I’M JUST AS SHOCKED AS YOU.
The story is obvious, sure, it trades in the kitschy 80’s vibe and homoeroticism for a great big cast and high octane action like nothing else. The action hasn’t had me and my mother on the edge of the seat like that in YEARS!
We decry that movies are lifeless, CGI messes of late- but here’s one where the film quality is so thick, the stunts so real and visceral, that the only right way to watch it is on the BIGGEST SCREEN POSSIBLE!
Mother walked out the happiest she’s been from the movies, and these are her words, ‘since seeing Argo’
