The Witch 2015
The production of period sets and dialog is one of the things that most pleased me about the film, it's really incredible visually. The drama and mystery built up little by little over the course of 92 minutes is different and well done, especially when the jumpscares aren't used exaggeratedly but in necessary parts to shock.

The visuals, effects, colors and angles of this film are wonderful to look at, but I feel that the story didn't touch me as much as the visual details.
