Carpenter's first entry into the Master of Horror series is an interesting and engaging work that deals with cinema itself. He uses an incredible concept of a lost film and an actual angel that's held hostage from outside the film to drill into our love of cinema. It's a different spin and oft-returning idea that works. Would love to have seen this with a feature budget and length.
