I saw this was on as I was combing through the TV guide looking for something to watch and since it has always been a wildly entertaining watch, I couldn’t prevent myself from watching it again. This film is both overrated and overhated in my eyes as it heavily divides opinion and is definitely overhyped by some but unnecessarily criticised by others. Personally, I think it’s a very good and captivating action film which you always have a fun time watching but nothing otherworldly like some people would have you believe. Funnily enough, this actually used to be one of my favourite films 4 or 5 years back and I’d always watch it late at night for the adrenaline rush. The performances all around were excellent and everyone fit their role to a glove, especially Jamie Foxx who was the star of the show. Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad having a cameo was pretty hilarious too and a nice touch, one of my favourite characters from the show for sure.
