my first time rewatching this since i saw it in the theaters, joaquín phoenix is unreal even though it took 14 years for the academy to give this man his oscar, onto the movie even though it obviously takes a lot of inspiration from taxi driver & king of comedy, im not gonna deny how incredible todd philips direction is, cinematography & the score are amazing, & that staircase scene *chefs kiss* 🤌
