Had to cap off the Christmas movie season with another rewatch of the best Christmas movie sequel ever made—accompanied by the PMI commentary track of course! Merry Christmas ya filthy animals… and a Happy New Year 🎄

It's a Wonderful Life 1946
A quintessential motion picture! Every time I revisit this one, I take a step back and rethink what is truly important in my life. It leaves me seriously contemplating what matters most to me at the end of the day. Never fails to move me emotionally as the credits roll. Just a bonafide classic. Merry Christmas folks! 🎄
Also… it’s crazy how often this film is referenced in other media. I would argue that well over half of the shows I have seen in my life have their It’s a Wonderful Life episode. That’s the sign of an influential movie right there!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2000
I warm up to this one more and more every year… much like the Grinch himself warms up to Christmas.
Started on Christmas Eve night, picked back up with it on Christmas morning.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2020
It had been a few years since I first saw this, and it has unfortunately regressed for me. Still a fun enough watch, but the humor missed the mark almost entirely this go around. Sonic is an easy to love character, but a lot of the bland humans weigh the movie down & Robotnik’s shtick fell flat. Entertainment value is there though!

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York 1992
The definitive Christmas movie double feature is in the books for 2024!

Home Alone 1990
In consideration for the movie I quote the most. Not only a Christmas classic, but an all-timer in my books!
