Fever dream of 2020s with half budget of cameos and songs (like wtf they afford it!?!)
Cameos were truly wild. I don't even know how they get them all... It's everyone from fancast to dead projects... I mean... D-23, Johnny Storm aka Chris Evans, Electra, Blade "there is only one blade" and even Gambit?!?!?!
The fights were truly the best and most cinematic. The car fight might be my favorite one next to opening fight (reminded me of civil war mixed with zombie land a bit). In top 3 there is also a Deadpools fight cause that was real peak. Still cannot believe that Blake lively is lady pool variant.
The strongest acts of that movie were Cassandra Nova, Paradox and Wolverine obviously. Crazy how after that many years Hugh Jackman can still deliver everything perfectly hands down just perfect. I wish we could really see more of Cassandra cause she was just deliciously evil just amazing. Pretty sure Paradox happened because someone saw succession and saw Matthew performance, but I'm pleased about it though. Dog pool aka Mary Poppins truly got my heart as well. Every scene was precious.
Obviously references were mad! Didn't meant to be pun too cause the void was literally mad max lmaooo. Some meta jokes were alright but sadly so many felt off. I don't know what kind of development hell that movie been though because you can tell....
The after credits behind the scenes was absolutely everything. God I wish we got more of this...
Overall this movie is INCREDIBLY MESSY yet so much fan service. This didn't ruin the enjoyment but too many meta jokes did. Despite so many good performances it's still the weakest of trilogy.
Side note: product placement is so obvious here and how tf they actually got Henry Cavill
