Considered to be the first film ever produced in Argentina. The film was directed by Eugene Py, who is considered the founding pioneer of the cinema of Argentina. The Cinema of Argentina is the film industry based in Argentina. The film is supposed to depict a flag of Argentina waving in the wind at the Plaza de Mayo. The film was shot on a Gaumont camera imported by the Belgian Henri Lepage, whom Py was working with at the 'Casa Lepage', a photographic supplies business in Buenos Aires. It was the first photographic camera equipment imported into Argentina in late 1896. The film was produced as a result of French immigrants in Buenos Aires, including Py.
However, I cannot find it
Sometimes considered to be the first film of Argentina, although it was preceded by 3 films before it. But I can't find it. Presumably lost?
