Slightly underwhelming and doesn’t get really fun until the final act— at which point it becomes a riotous kaiju bar fight (complimentary). Crumbling cities and monsters performing WWE movies is why we sign up for these movies and it’s why the movie ultimately ends on a high note.
But once again, here is another Monsterverse movie that is buckling under the weight of its own convoluted story. There’s zero trust in the audience, so the first hour is a hand holding…
