I spent all day in a farm yesterday and what shocked me the most was how much plastic there was. Everywhere. Near the crops, everywhere. There is plastic in my blood that will never come out, there is no water safe ti drink. That's what I thought about when watching this.
I really liked the animation, the colors, the music was good too. The story confounded me perhaps I will ammend this upon further pondering
Ça n'a pas grand chose à raconter et ça le raconte mal.
On peut difficilement faire plus incompréhensible...
While we were worried about those damn liberals, we should have been worried about those damn stingrays.
SFF Short #3
Very unique Exploratorion of the need for power, loved the animation, the sting rays were adorable
Había olvidado agregar este corto que vi en el FICG hace 2 meses.
Raro, curioso y creo que, una evidente crítica al calentamiento global empleando mantarrayas como ejemplo.
After an opening that has the look and feel of a Chris Ware book, and the relative tranquility of titles written on a floating plastic bag, it rapidly becomes a tale of environmental revenge as manta rays attempt to take back the Earth and flatten humanity. The animation style is wonderfully intense, like plant-based sea life floating in an abstract void. In the midst of recurring grid imagery and lots of water-based visuals, it all ends in a kind of creation/destruction story that was a perfect accompaniment to my meagre salad.
