Three women reminisce about their times at school and rekindle and affirm old friendships. They share a strange secret about each other that is never made known to us. The film is a cinematic interpretation of Samuel Beckett’s 1967 dramaticule, ‘Come and Go’.

Weiter geht meine Reise durch die Filmographie Ashish Avikunthaks mit diesem Short, der wohl das Theaterstück "Come and Go" von Samuel Beckett adaptiert.
Ich bin mit dem Theaterstück nicht vertraut und kann wenig darüber sagen, aber Avikunthak hält sich in seiner Adaption gewohnt symbolisch und kryptisch.
Die Schauspielszenen werden mit dokumentarischen Szenen zwischengeschnitten, so wie ich sie aus seinen bisherigen Shorts auch kenne.
Der Vibe ist wieder top notch, irgendwo zwischen unheimlich und wunderschön (die Grenze ist da in meinem Empfinden sowieso sehr schwammig). Kamera- und Schnitttechnisch zieht Avikunthak seinen Stil mal wieder durch, der mir sowieso sehr gut gefällt.
Wieder ein gelungener Short.

idk what kind of obscure shit it is that avikunthak puts forth but i love it
This is the longest 19 m in my life but I kinda like it.This short combine unique cinematography style and good sound design together.It’s a good spooky avant-garde.
