  not a parody, just a cheap superhero movie that ceaselessly reminds you it knows how lazy & stupid it is.

  you can't afford to make a pure superhero subversion, because it has to cost $$$ in order to look the part. but Deadpool also had to be super inexpensive in order to finance a hard-R movie about a juvenile 4th-rate superhero with a tangential relationship to the X-Men... so it's like a 7-10 split and the film throws the ball straight down the middle. it ends up falling into the same traps that it exists to mock, and it doesn't have the wit or filmmaking muscle to make that look good.

  Van Wilder was funnier in Van Wilder. Morena Baccarin deserves better. mildly concerned for anyone above the age of 15 who likes this movie.

  "Shit..."

  (The audience waits in rapt anticipation for the next line of dialogue, on the edge of their seats. What piece of comedic genius shall Ryan Reynolds dispense next? What witty juxtaposition will the marketing team at Marvel Studios inflict upon the public this time? The suspense is palpable!)

  "... Did I leave the stove on?"

  (The theater is consumed by howls of laughter. Seats are kicked, knees are slapped, and tears stream down the audience's cackling faces. They snort and guffaw, their ribs aching, as they turn red in the face. Choking on their popcorn, they gasp for breath, momentarily regretting having gone to see a film as jaw-droppingly funny as Deadpool. XXL-sized Pepsi containers spill across the floor as the dead bodies slump forward in their seats, expressions of mirth still on their faces. They die happily, with popcorn lodged in their windpipes. Such is the pain of seeing Deadpool, the funniest movie of all time.)

  THIS IS THE COMIC BOOK FILM WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! Seriously, we have NEVER seen anything like this before. Ryan Reynolds dream came true! He also kills it as Deadpool!

  THIS MOVIE IS SO TWISTED BUT I LOVED IT SO MUCH.

  It's insanity, pure insanity. Deadpool has it all, literally. There's action, blood, sex, and hella jokes. Like the jokes are constant and it all mostly works. Laugh after laugh after laugh. Easily the funniest movie I've seen in quite sometime.

  I never thought there would be a day where I saw a 5 minute sex sequence in a Marvel film. What a time to be alive.

  Morena Baccarin keeps getting better and better; I want to see her in everything.

  Also this film contains Stan Lee's best cameo BY FAR. No question.

  Is this how Americans feel when they watch Mr Bean? 
  This is simply jam-packed with unfunny quips, and amateurish efforts to satirise the superhero genre. Apologies—not my cup of tea, I’m afraid.
