This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I think I missed an entire wave of filmmaking (I haven't seen Promising Young Woman, Don't Worry Darling, The Menu, or Saltburn) that enabled something like this. Literally a movie about horrific sexual violence with the subtlety and intelligence of a superhero movie.
Also so fierce that there was an unintelligible indigenous mystical character who was originally supposed to be scary but was actually good all along. That is racist in a way I haven't seen in a while!
