  Sweet mother of all that is holy. Avoid this movie. Amazing how a all star cast can be subjugated into a horrible movie. Director must have had blackmail on all of them. I had to suspend my Amazing wife's movie picking privileges for 6 months after sucking what ever run time was out of my life. The only good part of this movie was its ability to keep us watching with the never appearing promise that it will get better.

  Is this a instant Christmas classic? No. Was it entertaining? Yes. I liked the movie. I don't think I will watch it every year. Maybe I would watch it once for every 2 times I watch Diehard.

  Close Encounters of the Third Kind 1977

  I can't remember the exact circumstances but somehow a 8 year old me was able to see this several times in the theater. A stand out movie amidst the 70s UFO craze. Brilliant writing, directing, and acting. Even the movie poster was simple and horrifying.
