Shirtless men in slow mo being purposely historically inaccurate 
I should hate it
But I love it

What happens if you get less talented people to make die hard 
Should be called Harrison Ford walks slowly around a plane
Uh, boring, not exciting and has hilarious CGI
Feels like a parody

Remains one of the greats

The perfect horror picture 
And absolutely timeless

The assembly cut is a hell of a picture!
Sags a tad getting to act 3 
And the CGI alien was just a bad idea 
But other than that
An incredible, nihilistic and tonal sequel to Alien

Not as tight or atmospheric as Prometheus 
But scratches an Alien itch that you may have during that movie

I can sense Joss Wheedon’s grubby little sex pest hands all over this mess
Total and utter nonsense garbage

Memberberries and ghoulish shit might be passable if it also wasn’t contained in a lame duck script lacking the bite and nastiness I’ve come to expect from Fede Alvarez.
Just watch Evil Dead 2013, at least that’s honest about being a remake

It’s a damn fun picture 
But it loses all of the mystique and intrigue of Alien, in favour of being a garish 80’s action flick. That flick still absolutely rocks but it can’t help but feel so much lesser in comparison 
So I try not to compare
