I was lucky enough to watch this two weeks ago when I went to the theater for a nightbitch early screening. There was a lady sitting outside next I asked her what was screening there… press screening for this! She let me go in as her plus one. I was like fuck nightbitch lol.
The hype is real. TheBrutalist it’s a magnificent movie in every single sense. It does feel like you’re watching a classic movie. What Brady accomplished with this movie is insane especially knowing the Budget was under 10m. A 5/5 movie
Probably the most impressive movie tech wise of the year. As of now it’s in my top3 so far. Give the Oscar to Brody already holy shit. Supporting cast is impressive too especially Guy Pearce and Jones who I’m not usually a fan of. I always bitch about runtimes and I had no issues with the 3+ this lasts. I was in awe the whole time.
What a fucking perfect movie he made. I’ve been a Brady fan since I watched the criminally underrated Vox lux, then childhood of a leader and I knew he was capable of this and more. Watch it asap when it’s Playing near you.
