  Normally I don't watch films with this much narration as I think it's just lazy film making, but City of God does it surprisingly well.

  I love the film making techniques used in this film like the time-lapse of the apartment or the flickery party scene.

  The story is very well done is interesting all the way through.

  Thought the acting was very good and didn't even mind the child acting.

  Although some aspects of the film are unrealistic like the gunplay

  This movie is so weird.

  Firstly we have two of the best actors of our generation, Jake Gyllenhaal and Jake Gyllenhaal.

  Secondly the amount of symbolism is to much to comprehend, I feel like this would be a good movie to do a deep dive and an actually analysis of it for English or smth

  Thirdly I kind of like how this film is shot, like idk but it's just so cold
