I prefer Dylan with a (in this case The) band to Dylan on solo guitar and I find the complete impressionism of the editing here a bit more evocative than the comparatively coherent vérité of Don’t Look Back (not to mention that Mr. Zimmerman’s editorial decisions are a lot less self-aggrandizing - love all the clips of people complaining about the tour),  but…

    Only remotely engaging when there’s music happening, and even then it’s usually early Dylan so the ceiling can only be so high - harmonica solo on Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright here is one of his worst.
