this was my first film by harmony korine and it was great! something that i know is divisive, but this really worked for me. aggro dr1ft feels so singular because it is, there’s no one doing stuff like this. whether it’s your thing or not, you have to acknowledge that it’s unique in its approach to filmmaking. really love the video game aesthetics going on here, and one of the best scores of the year. glad i finally checked this one out!
