Yeah, I still love this film, sure it’s absolutely pretentious to shit and I understand why people don’t like it, but at least for the most part that doesn’t take away my enjoyment from the film

2 key things I noticed more of this time around were the score and Joaquin Phoenix’s performance, the 2 main reasons that the film is the way it is, the score’s an add on to Arthur’s deteriorating mental state, and Arthur as a character is worth having certain scenes studied, like the scenes where he kills Randall, Murray, and Penny, I think all 3 of those scenes have defining factors of what made Arthur become the Joker all in their own way

From the trailers it looks like Joker 2’s going to go more commercial, I could be wrong, but if I’m right then maybe it’ll be better received, who knows
