Diogo Brüggemann’s review published on Letterboxd:
Maybe the most realistic portrayal of Brazilian dictatorship I've ever seen on screen, this is a somber and very down to earth story of a family and its memory. Fernanda Torres is absolutely incredible and a force to be reckon with in the role of real life lawyer, mother and wife Eunice Paiva. The kids also do a great job. Another must watch film be Salles, one that fits quite well together with his other two Oscar nominated/winning films, The Motorcycle Diaries and Central Station.
