Say what you want about the apes films but they ARE the thinking man’s blockbuster because I never expected a 40 year old lady to go “omg that’s just like India and Pakistan” when an orangutan was explaining how a bonobo was twisting the words of a Jesus-chimpanzee to become the strongest monke in the world but here we are.
