Manchester by the Sea

Manchester by the Sea

Such a genuinely sad film, full of raw emotions and depth. Extremely heart wrenching on ways that it just touch your heart and play with your most profound emotions, the performances are just unparalleled, Casey Affleck was truly phenomenal and he deserved that Oscar, also Lucas Hedges is awesome on his role, the growth of Lee and Patrick relationship is just so beautifully moving. The cinematography is chilling yet also comforting, the screenplay is as honest as it can be, the director did a beautiful job telling how is to be on a state of grief, what are you feeling, how you deal with it, is just a experience that I hate that exist, why our love ones have to die or to be more frankly why we all have to die someday? death scares the heck out of me but sadly there is nothing we can do about it, so this premise just covered me on chills since is a phobia I’m never going to overcome. Such a breathtaking film, it touched me deeply, such a sweet and sour sensation but so worth it of every second of his length.
