Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

So I watch this yesterday but I had to take time to find the right words to describe this film. First of all narratively is so ambitious, this backstory is so fascinating yet dramatic as heck, but the power it holds is insane. Such a bold, savage and compelling adventure that I was totally invested from start to finish, even though this film feels more messier than “Mad Max: Fury Road” and is somehow less cohesive, I like the risks they took especially on the exploration of this scenarios especially the wasteland and Citadel are just so interesting, the visuals of “Furiosa” are just so vibrant, this palette of colors between dry sepia and autumn they just attract the attention of the audience, the cinematography is immaculate. The acting is amazing for example Alyla Browne gave such a strong portrayal of the origins of Furiosa, such a powerful character with a raw background but that makes her even more admirable, Anya Taylor Joy also did a phenomenal job, and Chris Hemsworth was also surprisingly fantastic, his comedy time was on point and he gave this malicious spontaneous rebel portrayal that is so entertaining to watch. Overall Furiosa is an amazing continuation of this saga, certainly it doesn't left behind from his predecessor, it fulfills his purpose in such a unique and abstract way, I truly enjoyed it.
