A tense and technically brilliant film but not one where all the aspects came together for me. The mystery and characters are top notch but the romance which comes out of nowhere early on and then becomes creepy in the second half just isn't as interesting but the movie insists on focusing on it. I really enjoyed Vertigo but just wish the romance was handled better.
