The Brutalist 2024
The Brutalist is an impressive filmmaking accomplishment. 3 1/2 hour movie yet some of the better pacing you’ll see from a film. I never felt bored or that the film was going too long. Overall Phenomenal first half while the second half wasn’t nearly as strong
Bravo to Brady Corbet on also managing to make a film of this scale for $6.5 million. The set designs, along with the visuals were absolutely gorgeous.

Sing Sing 2023
‘Sing Sing’ was my most anticipating film of 2024 & it more than lived up to my expectations. A heartbreaking yet inspiring film that does a wonderful job showing the dark side of the prison system & the people stuck in it while also showing the creativity they can possess.
Coleman Domingo is a special talent who consistently delivers terrific performances & yet he might’ve just given his best one. Clarence Maclin stole the movie & my heart.

Here 2024
“Here” is a film that I wished I liked more than I did. Its premise is a very interesting idea that just wasn’t executed properly. There were a ton of characters yet outside of Tom Hanks & Robin Wright, they all lacked depth. The acting all together was very hit or miss. A lot of over-acting. This could’ve made a pretty good stage play.

Dune: Part Two 2024
What an incredible film. 2 1/2 hours and I wanted more. Genuinely everything about this film is amazing. The acting was top notch. Cinematography off the charts. The sound design was unbelievable. Hans Zimmer with another fantastic score. Denis Villeneuve did a great job directing. He replay sucked me into this beautiful world & story in ways that I couldn’t even imagine.
Timothee Chamalet gave a wonderful performance. I was especially impressed with his performance in the second half of the…

Challengers 2024
What a film! Had no business being as good as it was. Luca’s directing was top notch. Sayombhu Mukdeeprom’s camerawork was unbelievable. Some of the shots he used throughout the film, particularly the tennis matches, were so cool & unique. Captured tennis on the big screen in ways I’ve never seen. Great screenplay by Justin Kuritzkes. The score by Trent Rezor & Atticus Ross was awesome, truly adding a shot of adrenaline to every scene.
The chemistry of the 3 leads is…
