David Holcombe’s review published on Letterboxd:
What if Von Trier did his best Fellini impression?
Full extra star for Ana de Armas.
Some great cinematography and some incredible visual flourishes, but otherwise just a boring disorienting grind. Basically just skips right past all the parts of her life that weren’t grueling trauma. It’s kinda like a Lynch movie but timid and not funny and uninterested in storytelling.
Cool score tho.
