It’s genuinely hard to put this piece of art into words, even after rewatching it. The End of Evangelion is the perfect culmination of an already brilliant franchise, taking everything Neon Genesis Evangelion explored and pushing it to a surreal, mind-bending extreme. I’ve always loved this series, but this movie solidified just how much it means to me.

The concept of the Third Impact, combined with Gendo’s goals and intentions, is nothing short of genius. It’s a deeply layered narrative…

Scorsese delivers a visual and emotional masterpiece. The cinematography, especially during the boxing scenes, is absolutely breathtaking. Every punch, every movement carries so much weight. I was so captivated, I was afraid to blink and miss even a single frame. The choice to shoot in black and white adds a raw, almost documentary-like quality that perfectly matches the film’s brutal tone.

What surprised me the most is how invested I became in Jake LaMotta’s story, even though I have no…

This is the saddest movie I’ve ever seen. David Lynch masterfully crafts an atmosphere that makes you feel almost complicit in the cruelty and suffering John Merrick endures. It’s such an intense and emotionally overwhelming experience, yet I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for a second.

The performances are incredible across the board. Anthony Hopkins has such a commanding presence, and John Hurt’s portrayal of Merrick is absolutely gut-wrenching. His performance is so full of pain, dignity, and…

    The Notebook

    ★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

While this film has its charming aspects, it ultimately falls flat for me. The story just doesn’t resonate as deeply as it seems to for others. I’m not a fan of the concept where characters marry someone, promise eternal love, and then suddenly shift back to obsessing over their exes. It feels overly dramatic and a bit contrived.

That said, it’s an easy watch, and I can understand why it’s beloved by people who’ve seen maybe three romance films in total.

Overall, it’s an alright portrayal of Nicholas Sparks’ story, but for me, it doesn’t go beyond being average.

Robert Eggers' Nosferatu is a visually stunning reimagining of the classic story, and my first experience with his directing didn't disappoint. The colors and cinematography are mesmerizing, creating an atmosphere that hed me hooked from start to finish. The jumpscares were
well-executed, and the overall vibe was genuinely creepy.

Lily-Rose Depp surprised me with her performance. She was incredible and added depth to her character. She definitely deserves an
Oscar-nomination for that performance. On the other hand, I wasn't fully…

Robin Williams is doing all the heavy lifting here, and without him, this movie would completely fall apart. There are a few laugh-out-loud moments that shine, but overall, it’s a bit of a mess. The humor is hit-or-miss, with some jokes landing flat and others feeling way too over-the-top.

The last act moves into a strange territory, but not in a good way. It feels more chaotic than entertaining.

That said, Clancy Brown does a solid job as an antagonist,…
