Craig’s review published on Letterboxd:
How Jake Gyllenhaal didn’t get an Oscar, let alone a nomination for this movie is one of the biggest snubs of all time. He delivered a masterful performance and inhabited the role of Lou Bloom eerily brilliantly.
This is one of my favourite movies of all time. There’s nothing about this movie which I can find flaws about, in my opinion. A stellar lead performance, an underrated supporting role from Riz Ahmed, a chilling score, incredible cinematography throughout and one hell of a story.
This film is one that I could put on anytime I never get bored.
