Fabian’s review published on Letterboxd:
Lanthimos' strongest, most unforgettable and most rewarding film yet at this point of his career, in my opinion. As excellent as Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell are on their own in this film, it's the entire cast which turns this into such a masterpiece, and the great, metaphor-stricken plot with all its twists and turns.
I love the way this film leaves so much room for interpretation and haunts its way into your dreams: The Killing of a Sacred Deer is undoubtedly Lanthimos' most haunting fiilm so far. I suspect that I might appreciate The Lobster more if I rewatched it, but I will not be able to forget this film anytime soon either way.
Barry Keoghan does a great job as the leading actor.
