Dylan editing this film pretty much brings us to his fragmented perspective of the world at this time in his life. It’s a life splintered into sobering, hilarious, and poetic moments. And above all, this has several recordings which haven’t been featured on any of his records, and many of which are the best recordings I’ve ever heard of his songs. Plus Johnny Cash cameo duetting I Still Miss Someone. This is a thousand times better than Don’t Look Back.

This desperately needs to be remastered. I rewatched it again today because I had some time to kill and was already toked. Perfect 50-minute high watch.
