Going on a hunger strike until I can see chapters 2-5 of this. I've seen people call this a self-indulgent vanity project and I say good! Indulge away! Give me something big and vain and personal! Honestly, big respect to Costner for doing a grand Western epic with three or four semi connected plot lines, none of which pay off in this first chapter, but I want to keep watching and find out if any of these settlers found their new Jerusalem. It looks gorgeous and plus it has Michael Rooker, Will Patton and Jeff Fahey, which is good enough for me.
